The following to me makes laugh out loud.
In describing the Joint Programme with SEU ... NALP's page says:

Under the Programme, Degrees are offered at both Bachelors and Master's levels and are open to all Associate Members and above and to all those who can show a qualification or qualifications of an equal level.
The cost of the programme is extremely cheap, but that is because the Association absorbs the administrative costs.
It must be stressed that the Degrees are not 'qualifying degrees' for the purpose of proceeding to qualify as either a Solicitor or a Barrister and that the degrees are offered by an American University and not a UK University
