I was watching a church service on my chrome book when I noticed an icon in the bottom right corner of the screen that I did not recognize. When I put my mouse pointer on it I discoverd it was to "cast" what I was watching to another device, tv, etc. I clicked on it and a box came up showing the available devices to cast to and low and behold my smart tv showed up. When I clicked on it all of a sudden the webcast I was watching on my small chromebook was transferred to my 60" tv.
Of course the benefit of watching a webcast on a bigger screen is greatly affected by the quality of the webcast and your internet connection. As I type this I am watching the Pentecostals of Alexandria webcast live of their Sunday morning service. Apparently they recently updated both their video cameras and the quality of their web broadcast because it is widescreen high defintion and with awesome quality sound. I cast it to my 60" tv and it is as clear as any high definition regular tv channel.

"Way back in 2014, we noticed a rather ominous warning in the novella-length privacy policy that came with our new smart TV: “
Please be aware that if your spoken words include personal or other sensitive information, that information will be among the data captured and transmitted to a third party.”"
