Obama hurts christains again
Christain nonprofit groups are in an uproar over the Obama administration’s proposal to limit the value of deductions for charitable gifts, which was included in the budget the president presented to Congress. Now even God is going to get jipped by the IRS.
This is Obamas way to crush christian movment. Lets here from some Obama christians help explain this away. With taking way tax deductions of giving, this hurts all the poor and hurting that Obama says he's for. Just like always dumbacrats always promise social parasites everything, with money from hard working people, with a job. |
Re: Obama hurts christains again
God will never be "jipped" by the IRS. :)
Neither will those who give because God rewards faithfulness, not the IRS. |

I agree! It may hurt the pet projects of some assemblies but it will NEVER crush the movement. History has proven that persecution ALWAYS makes the TRUE Church grow! Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. :thumbsup |
Re: Obama hurts christains again
Those who really want to give and help will continue to do so whether they get a tax deduction or not.
In a way, isn't allowing this deduction a promotion of religion (religious and charitable giving) by the government? Those who take this deduction pay less in taxes than those who do not. Is giving because of the tax reduction that will be realized actually giving with the right motive? |

Oh good grief.

Re: Obama hurts christains again
This is another example of liberals having defined the issue. In this case, is is tax credits, or the ability to deduct expenses/giving.
In a perfect world (which is yet to come), there will be a flat tax whereby ALL money will be given without thought to how it will effect their taxes because there will be no special credits or deductions (other than basic 'expenses' for businesses). |

Yet we already did a bailout that started under Bush and did it fix anything? Did it slow the downward spiral? No! So how are they going to help the people that need help the most? They aren't. Who will fund the "soup kitchens"? Democrats? Obama out of his own pocket? |
