Amen! I agree! It's a big knife OP's have deciding who has or hasn't been worthy of heaven because of their doctrine. I'm thankful Christ is our faithful judge.

just finishing reading The Prayer Warrior's Way by Cindy Trimm, copyright 2011. The author takes the various parts of what we commonly call The Lord's Prayer and devotes a chapter to each of them. Each chapter is meant to bring these principles into our every day lives.

I used to have an 8 page..booklet titled “The Name of Gods Church.”..
On the cover it says that was written by W.E. Smith of Dyersburg, TN and that the price is 75 cents...
I don’t remember where or when I got it but it was probably in the late 1950's.
It does not have a copyright date...
Inside the front cover is printed:
The Church of Jesus Christ
977 Chase Street
Gary, Indiana
Elder Ernest Arthur, Pastor.

I guess there is no zip code because they were not yet in use when this booklet was printed.

Anyway, I gave the book away a couple years ago. I have it in pdf format and it is 11 pages. I mentioned the book on Facebook and someone asked about it.

So I searched for it on my computer, found it and I just re-read the pdf version.

I love anything written by Winston Churchill. Currently reading, The Age of Revolution, A History of the English-Speaking Peoples, Volume III.
