You spoiled it!!!!

I was just waiting to see if some rumor mill worker would run off claiming "Mahaney is leaving" or some other mess.

you spoiled my trap LOL

Yes, Bro Mahaney is/was one of my fovorite, most respected and honored preachers.
A personal friend of my pastor, and he preached at our church 10 15 times or more. He was a shining light. I can't wait to see him again someday.

Have you read his book? "He's my God too!"

An absolute MUST read for anyone who wants to know God more!!!!

I used exaggeration to make a point this battle should have been fought years ago. There wouldn't have been a threat of a mass exodus if legalism was dealth with early. The longer the monstor is allowed to breather the harder it is to kill it.

I am affilliated with an organization because I've been asked to do a few weddings.

TV1A, can we also take a critical look at your affiliations? (whatever they may be)

If the upci took on legalism 40 years we wouldn't have talk of 2,000 ministers leaving an organization today.
I am not concerned about Reckarts feelings & I would have to guess that he probably isn't to concerned about mine either.
That being said, whether the things he is saying is true or not, I don't have to respond in kind by being mean.

Jim Yohe was my friend.

FCF, nFCF and eventualy AFF exist because of a fight Jim and I had back in 2002. I had recently aquired the Apostolic Discussion Board, The Good News Cafe, from Stan Hallet, its founder. Jim used to post there under the username "Cyclops".

I had never had any interaction with people over the internet. In fact, I despised people who "chatted". I had had no use fo it. When the GNC was dropped in my lap it was a hard thing for me. I intially just wanted to burn it off the web and be done. But my pastor, Rendal Rutledge, said, no, let's let it be.

Which bounces back to me, a conservative with no prior experiance interacting with folks over the internet. I was blunt, brutal, and seriousle plastered people I wish I wouldn't have.

Jim and I got in a fight over it. He felt that a discussion board should be a boot camp (his words) where people discover God through debate. I disagreed. And believe me we had it out.

After that I helped Jim set FCF up, and hosted itas I now do AFF.

All through that time Gary Reckart has been a thorn. When Bro Jim passed the first thing Reckart did was post a "Yep. God got him" thing.

There's some back story for ya, and a bit about why I am really angry about this jamoke putting my friend and brother in hell.

Yeah, so he loves his family. Big deal. Hitler loved Eva Braun.

Some people aren't cut out for spiritual warfare.

And some folks confuse "spiritual warfare" with personal vendettas... and forget who and what they are.

If you say so. When all the bloodletting of this crusade is over, I pray you're not one of the casualties.
