Meeting the Birth Mother for the First time in the Morning
I am a little nervous, this will be the first time for me to meet Adley's birth mother. She is close to 8 months pregnant with our son Adley.
I am here in Atlanta singing , she and her mother are coming to the hotel in the morning for breakfast.
She is 17 years old and so far has been very positive toward the adoption.
Walker will have a brother , he isn't so happy about it.
Say a prayer for me. Thanks. Vy

Vicki,
I know what you're going through. I remember how nervous we were the first time we knew we were meeting Keith's biological grandma (she had custody and is the one who gave him up for adoption).
This will be fine. Relax. Get to know her as much as you can during the time you get to spend with her. This will all be things you can share with Adley when he gets older and asks if you ever met his birth mother. Remember that she is making a choice for him out of her love for him.
I'll for sure be praying. God bless you and give you strength and peace.

I hope all goes well, being adopted myself, I was very nervous when meeting my birth mother. Though I was 18 of course, but both my birth family and adopted family was very nervous, but it worked out great.

I have just returned to my room, everything went GREAT.
She is a very sweet girl, she is ready to get all of this behind her .
She is a senior this year and is a straight A student. She is planning on going to college next year.
I brought her up to my room and showed her pictures of Adleys room, she loved how I decorated the room.
We spent close to 2 hours together, I think everything is going to be just fine.
Thanks for your prayers AFF family. Vy
