What about the Evangelist...which side?

If more pull out will the Evangelist have to chose sides to be able to preach?

Will they have access to a "blacklist" to know who they should not be preaching for?

Is their life going to see a new turn of events?

I know several evangelist now and I don't think it will matter to them either way. These are all conservative men and they already preach for just about as many independent churches as they do UPC churches. The guys I know don't just preach for "anybody", they usually stay inside a fellowship of men of like faith. There are exceptions when these guys do preach for more liberal churches but it is not the norm for them.

Don't worry.

An evangelist is usually a conservative or lib.

No in between.

Lib pastors don't ask conservative evangelist and conservative pastors don't ask lib evangelist.

It's always been that way, unless some pastor decides he "wants to help" the evangelist.
