(-(ALL Exclusive)-)TV resolution going down for defeat?????

((( LATEST UPDATE ON THE TV RESOLUTION ))))


Got word from a Preacher Today that according to a very recent poll taken, It looks like the TV resolution may be going down for Defeat!!!!!!

what will the LIbs and Mods do if this occurs?

will this suffice the cons ?

the rumor is that the resolution is going to be amended to say that we can advertise but we can't minister on TV....

I think the amendmant should read.
Whereas we don't restrict the use of the internet
Whereas we really want to try to be consistent
We will no longer forbid our members and Pastors from having TV's. We will no longer forbid advertisments or ministering on TV.
From now on we will preach against the evils that can be found on ALL types of media, rather than just attack one piece of technology

I think it is laughable that we are debating something that should have been addressed 30 years ago. Hello- Television is an antiquated technology. That being said ,I spoke to a minister last night who is going to conference. He said he thought the resolution would pass by a small margin and there would be minister leave because of it.
