I have never appreciated the humor in making fun of things related to faith or the church, even if it might be a charlatan doing them. Just makes me uneasy..........

Didn't mean to offend... just makes me think of how much alike some of them are..vs. the real thing...

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell the difference...

Hollywood produces these things... and I think that TBN manufactures them too... it's just people's faith regardless of show that I think that God responds too...

You did not offend me my friend. I just don't get a kick out of it. I get an uneasy feeling when things of God are ridiculed, especially when it comes about because of fakes. But then I do understand God's gonna sort it all out in the end.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts!

I thought it was funny, however, there was no information in the original movie (maybe this is why Chevy Chase's career went to the dogs), that they were making fun of any 1 organization.

With regard to the AOG or other mainstream church/movement owning exclusive rights to the theatrical and disingenuous, I would guess you haven't been around much at the big Apostolic meetings either.

Kutlass... the Chinese YouTube were experiancing something from God not from Theater...

They probaly could be arrested and jailed for meeting like that to worship... I don't feel that they were putting on a show or asking for money... do you?
