Re: Poster Aquilla was right.....
I don't believe it, because it's not on CNN.
Seriously though, how biased must msm be to completely ignore this Susan Rice story? Incredible! It was trending on FB and Twitter this morning, yet NOTHING from msm. (Just checked CNN.com/politics page -- nothing. Not a word.)

Re: Poster Aquilla was right.....
It should be standard procedure to investigate individuals running for President. After all, should they win, they have broad military powers and control of nuclear weapons. Let's imagine a candidate who appears "all American" but intelligence officials investigate them and find that they have ties and contacts throughout the terrorist community. That information should be noted and on record.
Also, since this was going on BEFORE Trump was the nominee it should prove that the goal of our intelligence community wasn't to use such information to cause him to lose the election, which he actually won. Had this been a Democratic effort to discredit the candidate I would have expected all this information to have been disclosed during the election, not now in an after the fact investigation.
Clearly, there was an effort to NOT use this information to influence the election...or Trump would have most likely not even have won the nomination.
But more information will be forthcoming. Stand by. I think America will be shocked when all the information is disclosed and the pieces fall into place.

It is truly sad to see you so drunk on the Democrat propaganda Kool-Aid. What will come out will only make your party look worse than they already look.

You are out of your mind.
The government should investigate candidates running for office?
What do you want this to be?
The old USSR?

In the words of Larry the Cable Guy -- "What is this, Russia?"
1) The government should never be involved in investigating private citizens unless there has been criminal charges leveled against them.
2) I don't remember you calling for the "standard procedure" to be done against obama when he first ran in 2008. In fact, you've protested and complained about Wikileaks' revelations about Hillary Clinton. You have two sets of rules: for GOP, you want rigorous investigations, leaks and government spying; for libs/progressives, you don't want any type of questioning or checking into their qualifications or past or associations, etc.
BTW, when this is all said and done, there could be some obama admin people making deals with the Feds to avoid prison time. There's a reason obama's allegedly camped out on an island in international waters.

So, let me get this straight....
You want adequate vetting and background checks on immigrants.... but not the POTUS???
Anyone running for POTUS should be thoroughly investigated. They have control of nukes for crying out loud.
This is a no brainer.
Frankly, if the intelligence agencies haven't been investigating leading candidates, they should be. If someone has a shady past with regards to business with foreign countries or terrorism, we need to know.

When one runs for public office, they cease being private citizens.

Nope. You missed the subtle nuance. I have no issue with intelligence agencies investigating someone running for POTUS. What I have issue with is allowing that information to be used to influence an election, especially when no criminal charges have been filed. Investigate away, but it should remain confidential and shouldn't be politicized. Notice, the CIA and the FBI didn't work to sing Trump during the election. However, it can be said that their timing regarding public disclosure sunk Hillary.

Oh please. But I will agree, corruption isn't party specific. I wouldn't be surprised if some Democrats go down too. On that, we're agreed.
