Day of Reckoning for GOP Tomorrow
If Donald wins tomorrow, the Bushes, Mitt Romney, John McCain, Susan Collins, John Kasich and many other aristocrat Republicans will be forever irrelevant. If he loses, they will also be irrelevant.
Ronald Reagan's 11th commandment for Republicans was to "never speak evil of another Republican" was violated by the very people who turned the Party of Lincoln and Reagan into "Democrat Party Lite". They deserve to lose the party they once led.
Trump has breathed new life into a party who has lost 4 of the last 6 presidential cycles. That new life includes the once Democrat stronghold of blue collar workers. Michigan is in play tomorrow. Pennsylvania is in play. Even Minnesota is in play.
Whatever the outcome, the GOP won't be the same. The moderate, weak-kneed, jelly-spined Republican Party of the 90s and 2000s is dying. A new breed of GOP is emerging. I predict more African Americans will vote for DT than voted for the GOP in years.
I'm thankful to see the GOP house get cleaned of the establishment.

Re: Day of Reckoning for GOP Tomorrow
America, as most of us knew it, is over. What it will become after today is the question.
Only the Church will survive.

Re: Day of Reckoning for GOP Tomorrow
The strategy by some in 2008 was to send the GOP a message: John McCain wasn't conservative enough, therefore allow Obama to win and a true conservative would emerge for 2012. Well we see how that worked. So once again the strategy was to not vote for Romney. Eight years of Barack Obama we will never get back. Eight years of fundamentally undermining what America was supposed to be we will never get back.
So Trump is not a conservative in the classical sense. So let's not support him and allow Hillary to win. It's like being an Alabama fan but hoping Auburn wins the Iron Bowl because you don't like Nick Sabin. You don't really get it.

Yes, we do get it. You know things are bad in your party when conscience is considered a deficiency.

Exactly.
As I have stated before, most of the #NeverTrump'ers would not have voted for Reagan, either.

Based on what, exactly? I don't recall Reagan praising dictators and tyrants, being pro-choice, praising PP, supporting liberal causes, and being an otherwise disgusting, crass, despicable human being.
There is no comparison between Trump and Reagan. None. Trumpsters would like to try, as seen in other threads on here. But there's no comparison.

That all had been started years before by the DEms. Trump was the first to finally answer it.

What are you talking about?
From the OP: "Ronald Reagan's 11th commandment for Republicans was to "never speak evil of another Republican""
We're not talking about the general election, I'm talking about the smears, lies and junk Trump said about his GOP rivals. He compared Ben Carson to a pedophile. No need to rehash all the lies and trash he said about Cruz.
It was Trump who violated Reagan's 11th commandment, not the GOP. Not even the GOPe.
