And our resident AFF turncoats think this is a good thing. Of course if it was happening to Cruz they'd be whining.
We can talk about rules all day long. Some States, if not most, do not have a law requiring the electors to cast their vote for whoever won the Presidential election in their State. Sure, it would be "legal" for them to vote against the electorate, but it would not make it right.
In spite of how "legal" it may be, Cruz is hurting the party and its chances of winning in November. As Buchanan said, he has been rejected by the ones that really count, the voters. In the past, most candidates would not try to do what he was doing simply because they yielded to the will of the voter. Cruz is showing his ego is much bigger than Trump's ever will be.
