How Deep Is It In Here?

"Pentecostals" today try their best to justify their name by talking a lot, by constantly coming up with trick little catch phrases which sound spiritual, and by trying to talk about some "New Thing Being Done By Thu Holy Spirit!! A Refreshing!! All Across America!!"

But, in fact, they cannot replicate even one feature of Acts ch. 2, The Day of Pentecost immediately following Christ's Ascension. No "Pentecostals" can ever:

1.) Show that Jesus Commanded them to wait anywhere for the Gift of The Spirit.

2.) Be gathered together actually in one accord as were the Disciples and Apostles in Acts 2.

3.) Have their building shake with a mighty wind of supernatural power.

4.) Have cloven tongues of fire descend upon all present.

5.) Have all present speak the Works of God in known languages of international Jews present.

6.) Have an authentic Apostle, one of The Twelve, briefly speak, and bring 3000 new Believers into The Church.

No "Pentecostal" can replicate even one of these things, yet they proudly assign that label to themselves.

If these "Pentecostals" cannot even be honest enough to accurately name themselves, then how many fabrications, distortions, lies, false doctrines, undemonstrated teachings, and goofy actions are within their churches? How constantly desperate are they, and how much work and diligence does it take them to justify anything they do as "Pentecostals?"

Now notice below how they are unable to speak to any if these facts listed above, but can only make ad hominem retorts, can only toss up some vaguely related Scriptures, and will try to change the topic here about their dishonesty.

Just ask any of them these questions:

1.) Why can you not heal "all people who come to you" as did Jesus, without first preaching at them for 40 minutes?

2.) Why do you call so many things "anointed" which Scripture never calls anointed?

3.) Why are you never able to heal amputees?

4.) Why are there "Pentecostal" preachers and evangelists who are adulterors, fornicators, pedophiles, and thieves? Is being "filled to overflowing with The Holy Spirit" not powerful enough to convict them while within temptation before they willfully sin? Yes? No?

5.) Why are there more fake "tongues" and meaningless "prophecies" than authentic ones?

6.) Why are emotional excesses and theatrics given such priority by "Pentecostals?"

7.) Why has the notion of "deliverance ministry" been consistently shown to be fake and unreliable?

8.) Why do "Pentecostal" preachers and evangelists so rarely have marketable skills, and must stroke people for money and "love gifts?"

9.) Why do "Pentecostal" preachers and evangelists consistently disobey Proverbs 10:19 and babble a multitude of words in their churches unlike Jesus and The Twelve Apostles who always spoke concisely and briefly?

10.) Why do they think falling down on the floor has anything to do with attaining spirituality, even when the ladies are then covered up with a modesty cloth?

Lol.

"Pentecostals" never can answer any of this. They can only play The Victim, play the Faithful Dumb Steward, or got All Huffy.

Re: How Deep Is It In Here?

While you list all these things and demand them of others, did you do any of these things?

Re: How Deep Is It In Here?

In the list of th jags that happened in acts to those filled with the Spirit, none of them except one thing was repeated every time someone got the Spirit. Tongues. The house shaking did not occur in acts 2, 8, 10 or 19. The fire on their heads did not occur in acts 4, 8, 10 or 19. Devils were not cast out in acts 2, 4, 10 or 19.

That means those in acts 4, 8, 10 and 9 did not experience cloven tongues of fire on their heads in the experiences recorded in those chapters, and so on as I listed above.

Jesus only told people to wait for the first time the Spirit would be poured out. No one waits any more since it's already in the world. I've been in meetings where everyone was indeed in one accord.

Only one thing was consistent and that one thing is what the title Pentecostal points to.. Speaking in tongues when filled with the Spirit. And it appears you never even did that by your tone of posting.

You just keep coming back with nothing, don't you? Think. I do not call myself a "Pentecostal." How bright are you?

Lol. Are you genuine, or phoney?

You are wrong again. Don't you ever get a little tired, or a little better informed?

No "Pentecostals" ever speak the known languages of international Jews present. The reason? Because Acts 2 was for a sign only, and was not the first of an ongoing process until today. Yes. For a time the sign was repeated. Even Idiot Paul said tongues were a sign for Unbelievers.

Did you Babble, dance around like a clown, and pretend to be anointed this Sunday morning? Lol.

If I knew you were seriously and studiously asking these questions, I might be more inclined to respond in kind. However, because of all your crazy rants and posts, I am not even going to try.

From all indications from the ugly words you are hurling from your keyboard, YOU are the one who needs to FORGIVE someone in your life who has hurt you. Why else would you to rail out and hurl such insults in such a venomous way? Seventy-times-seven remember?

Why could you not answer my question?

By the way, I pastored a church where the firetrucks came during worship service one night because they saw flames on the roof. They walked in and were amazed it was a worship service!

I spoke in tongues in a service and and a person who worked in Pakistan came up to me and told me I spoke Erdu (sp?) giving praise to God.

My dad is German and heard a person speaking in tongues in service and he knew they were speaking Hungarian.

Next.

You avoid addressing the falsehood of the "Pentecostal" label because of "how I sound?" And, because of how I "make you feel?"

Lol. You really are weak, and do think like a woman, don't you? You have not the Spirit of Truth, but only a weak little spirit of a guy without enough sack to step up with rationale.

Don't get me wrong. You belong right there in "Pentecostslism," with those of Matthew 7:21-23, and not with Christ's functional Church. You are all talk
