What kind of mom and dad takes a nine year child to a gun range to use a machine gun?

I actually agree with you here!

And the gun instructor should have had more sense and refused to let that girl shoot that gun on his range.

Feel terrible for that little girl though. How awful to just witness something like that, much less know she killed him.

Wow. What a tragedy for all concerned. This could happen to any child shooting any high powered gun.

I once shot a very high powered rifle, can't remember what it was. It jolted me, and thew me backwards. I don't ever need to shoot an Uzi, or any high powered semi or semiautomatic rifle! This certainly should be a wake-up call for those who think that anyone can fire one of those guns.

That's right. Politicize a tragic accident. Automatic weapons are evil. These were terrible parents. The fact that the instructor was very careless is irrelevant.

Uzis aren't High Powered, but the fact is an automatic weapon of an caliber should be hard for a 9 year old to handle.
