The President is grappling with the decision to intervene militarily with Syria. That is where he is.

He only spoke out on the Martin case because of the grip that specific case had on the whole country. You do realize that the country was looking at this case? Right?


As for the TM supporters-- I would be one of them. What would you like to ask me?

I am sure that we can agree that two wrongs don't make a right.
I am sure that we can also agree that the idea that this was a revenge killing is not something that is accepted by the Memphis PD, and neither is there a lot of proof that this was a revenge killing.

Do you know just how many people in America were following the TM case? Do you have any idea of how many Americans, of all races, have very strong opinions-- disagreeing with the "Not Guilty" verdict?

So is every white person who is the victim of a senseless and violent crime, where the perpetrators are black, targeted because of the TM case?

I guess we just haven't gotten around to them yet....

Obama's too busy riding around the east coast on a bus, campaigning. This admin is completely clueless as to what to do with anything. The brand new US ambassador to the UN is AWOL during this alleged gas attack in Syria. And during that time, Obama's on a bus conducting his never-ending campaign.

But even if the economy was good and there were no crisis in the middle east, he still wouldn't say anything about this, or the Australian who was shot, or the WW2 vet who was beat to death with flashlights by a couple black thugs.

Could it be that somewhere along the line America has become desensitized to the act of blacks killing other blacks, whitres or hispanics? So when some black kids or adults kill a white guy most people just brush it off as the norm? Yet when any "injustice" is done against a black a la Trayvon, the black community somehow rallies together and uses social media and every other voice available to make it a big news item and draw attention. Now, whenit comes to black on black violence that gets no rally. It's as if that too is just expected. But if a white guy kills a black guy then it might as well be the 1800's again.

I don't know how you fix this problem in America without first addressing the very real problem within the black community. Which we aren't even allowed to talk about b/c doing so makes us "racist".

Jermyn, don't make excuses for the president. If it was another black killed by anyone of another race, he would have left his post once again to hold a press conference about such injustice. And you know that GZ was never seen as anything but a white guy to the black community. I noticed you didn't comment on the story itself that I referred to in my post either.

As for proof this was a revenge killing, the black kids involved had such evidence posted on their Facebook pages just before the murder happened. And of course Memphis PD doesn't want to believe it. Aren't they all black?

Don't get me wrong. I'm not a race card player at all. But to compare the TM murder to this one...well, it isn't comparable at all. GZ was NW and wasn't out to 'kill a black kid' that night. These three black kids sole reason for being out was to 'kill a white guy'. They didn't even have the decency to make it look like robbery....just shot him and jumped back in the car.

The president doesn't have any more on his plate right now than he did six months ago.
