and his mother's name was:

While reading in the book of I Kings I noticed that it would tell who reighned and then his mother's name. And he did evil in the sight of the Lord, or he did right in the sight of the Lord. I noticed the significance put on the mother as to whether or not her son did good or bad. Note the meaning of the mother's names of the five good kings and five bad kings.
Bad Kings
I Kings 15:1-2 Abijam reighned three years in Jerusalem and his mother's name was Maachah. And his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God
Maachah=depression, gruised or stuck. No wonder some kids don't want what mom's got, if it's that bad.
II Kings 8"26 Ahaziah.....Athiliah= Most vehement, very forceful, to force or drive. Don't care about others feelings. II Kings 11, she killed her grandchildren so she could rule.
II Kings 21:1-2 Manasseh... (Hephzibah) = to have pleasure Some mothers are only concerned about having a good time. I Timothy 5:6.
II Kings 23:36-37. jehoiakin (Zebudah) =To purchase, spendthrifts, blowing money daily while husband is trying to make ends meet Hebrews 13:5, I Timothy 6:6.
II Kings 24:8-9. Johoiachin, ((Nehushta) = Filthiness. Titus 2:4-5.
Good Kings
I Kings 22:42, Jehosaphat (Azubah)= Commit self, fortify, help. Committed to husband and children. Mothers trying to win the world and letting their husband and children fend for them selves.
II Kings 12:1-2, Jehoash..(Zibiah) =glorious, goodly or pleasant.
II Kings 14:1-3 Amaziah...(Jehoaddan) =Soft or pleasant.
II Kings15:1-3, Azariah...(Jecholiah) = To be able, overcome, Have the power to prevail, can suffer..
II Kings 22:1-2 Josiah, (Jedidah) =Well loved, worthy of love. sweetness of temper. Mothers can make a difference. The following kings had bad fathers, but look at their mother's names and the sons turned out good.
II chronicles 24:1-2, Joash did right, he was the son of Ahaziah who was wicked. His mother's name was Zibiah which means= goodly or beautiful.
II Chronicles 29:1-2, Hezekiah was the son of Ahaz who was wicked. His mother's name was Abijah, which means= worshipper.
