Are You Old Enough To Remember

***Add To This With Your "Old Enough To Remember"***

How many on here are old enough to remember when you had to be careful with gossip because your neighbors may pick up their phone and listen to what you were saying?

Re: Are You Old Enough To Remember

My first cell phone was big as a suitcase and you really had to talk fast because of the cost.

Kids stayed outside and played until the adults were finished eating then they came in and ate.

They would also give their seats to adults that walked into a room.

I remember cigarette ads on the television. The marlboro man. And the man with the black eye....what's that...I'd rather fight than switch?

Or pick up the phone to listen to your neighbors gossip.

OOOOOO! I'm really old because, well, I remember ALL of these! LOL We were on a party line (telephone sharing) when we first married in 1972! "I'd rather fight than switch" Tareyton Cigarettes! My mom smoked Viceroy and my dad Camels. I also remember the labels that said "WARNING: Cigarette smoking MAY cause cancer."
