Happy Memorial Day weekend...What Are Your Plans?

Trust y'all have a safe holiday and good rest on your long weekend.

Of course let us reflect on the reason for the day and take a moment to remember the men and women in harm's way.

What are your plans?!

As it stands now, mom and me will be barbequing here just for us...think I'm going to do something simple...

Red Potato Salad
Barbeque Chicken
Grilled Polish Sausage

and maybe Felicity's Apple Pie and ice cream...

And the highlight for me is I'm off till Wednesday!!

My husband's brother/wife/kids are here from out-of-state; so we'll be spending today (Sunday) with them. It's great when all the kids can get together! They get along so well... I wish hubby's bro would just move back here to stay.

Happy Holidays to our neighbours to the south.
Enjoy your day off (if you get one) and be safe.

For us "Canucks" tomorrow is a regular day.

Yes, y'all had your holiday last weekend, though some of God's wonderful people had to work.

I have four days off and I am loving it!!

We had a huge church picnic today after the second service with those big inflatable things for the kids, plus all kinds of other things that I was too tired to even think about. LOL! Tomorrow, my brother and his family from St. Louis will be here at my folks, so I will be going over there tomorrow to feast again, I'm sure.

Yes.....Actually, we prefer using the old charcoal grill, rather than the gas grill..
