Texas on NPR

Yesterday I was listening to NPR (National Public Radio) as I was driving. (Something I like to do to keep up with the socialist movement in America.)

I was pleasantly surprised to hear a report that the state of Texas has not elected a Democrat to statewide office since 1994!!!!

One more reason Texas is a great state.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Since liberalism is a mental illness, Texas must be the most sane state in the union. LOL
That's what I like about TEXXXAS!!!

Re: Texas on NPR

The liberal rag, Texas Monthly, stated that Gov. Perry has moved the state so far to the right, it will be years to come before a Democrat gets a stronghold in Texas. Bad at debating, great at governing.

My company has not bought advertising on NPR since 1998. I bought spots on Car Talk but couldn't cope with their leftist whining on their other news talk programs.

(there is no connection between The Peoples Republic of Berkeley The Democratic People's Republic of North Korea and The Republic of Texas)

The worst NPR broadcasts I have heard have come out of Madison, Wisconsin.... The "San Fran" of the Midwest.

I enjoy Madison. I agree they are a leftist extremist stronghold.
