Re: GOP Debate Tonight

I like Newt's responses even though the audience keeps booing him.

Re: GOP Debate Tonight

I like Herman Cain. I think America would do really well under his leadership. I really can't stand the feeling I get with polished politicians like Perry and Romney. These 2nd tier candidates I think would be less beholden to special interests. I'd rather see Cain or Bachmann or Gingrich or Santorum go up against BO rather than Perry of Romney.

Gov Gary Johnson wins with the best line of the night: "My neighbor's two dogs have created more shovel-ready jobs than Barak Obama."

Re: GOP Debate Tonight

Perry needs to practice debating it looks like.

A good night for Romney.

Re: GOP Debate Tonight

Well, I ended up being able to view the debate tonight.

I didn't recall him being booed.

It was weird as there seemed to be a lot of clapping for various answers and then the booing would come in later. It was as though they remembered they might want to boo. LOL!

I agree. I didn't like Perry or Romney tonight. Perry didn't appear to strengthen himself. Although, people were more satisfied with the HPV answer this go round. But, like Bush, he is much better and more personable in person than in a debate. Perry was totally lambasted, hammered, hit on the illegal immigration issue.

Romney stayed the same. He didn't do anything for himself tonight. Not impressed with him at all.

I thought Bachmann looked better, but she won't move up in the polls.

Gingrich is always brilliant. If he could only operate like he debates, it would be great.

It seemed as though people really liked Cain tonight.

Paul gave good answers. He does know the history behind so much going on in the functioning of the government and the results thereof.

Santorum's answer on DADT was spot on. It was a perfect response.

Everyone else was a non-issue.

As far as looking more presidential, yes, Romney did do that. But, I still wasn't happy with him tonight. He makes you feel as though nothing in the Republican Party will change if he gets the nomination. JMO.
