It's true the BO admin hasn't fulfilled their promise to be the most open in history. It's a joke. I'd give the reason for the problem, but it wouldn't go over well here.
I don't know how useful these emails will be anymore. They [the press] originally wanted them right after she was selected as VP. No one knew much about her, there were tons of rumors circulating and the best way to get info would be from her own emails. Ultimately, McCain and her used their powers and pull to keep them under wraps. Being a VP candidate has its perks apparently.
But now, 3 years later, I don't see the emails having much in the way of new information. From what I've read, Palin doesn't seem very concerned about them being released, so I doubt there's anything in these. Either that or the info she doesn't want out is in the 2,200+ labeled as state confidential and won't be released, or they're redacted in the emails.
