WA DC Post & NYT want help with Palin emails

With less than 24 hours left until approximately 24,000+ emails from Sarah Palin's brief tenure as Gov are released, both the Washington Post and NYT have put out a public request for help in reviewing the emails.

I doubt they'll have any big revelations. More than likely journo's and reporters will see a lot of emails with large sections redacted to keep info confidential.

I've been wondering if she was waiting to announce whether she was going to run for President after this new set of information came out.

I was thinking I'd rather have a man for president, but our men (both parties) seem to have a problem keeping their pants zipped.

I think this has been the only time that I have agreed with Nancy Granholm. "Women in power just maybe aren’t as attractive to men, but I can tell you that the opportunities aren’t there and perhaps a lot of the instincts aren’t there." And when she Tweeted, to the male governors, that they should keep their ``pants zipped.''

It's true the BO admin hasn't fulfilled their promise to be the most open in history. It's a joke. I'd give the reason for the problem, but it wouldn't go over well here.

I don't know how useful these emails will be anymore. They [the press] originally wanted them right after she was selected as VP. No one knew much about her, there were tons of rumors circulating and the best way to get info would be from her own emails. Ultimately, McCain and her used their powers and pull to keep them under wraps. Being a VP candidate has its perks apparently.

But now, 3 years later, I don't see the emails having much in the way of new information. From what I've read, Palin doesn't seem very concerned about them being released, so I doubt there's anything in these. Either that or the info she doesn't want out is in the 2,200+ labeled as state confidential and won't be released, or they're redacted in the emails.

None yet, there too busy reassembling them on a computer, to make them look more real than the BC,which shouldnt be hard but,, they are tops in incompentency !

None? How shocking. I was sure releasing all the emails he had recieved and sent during his tenure as a senator would be part of the vetting process.

I'm not usually a Jon Stewart/Daily Show fan. I used to like watching it occasionally, but a few years ago it got unbearable to watch with his continual maligning of anything or anyone conservative or Republican.

But the video link below is great. Everyone knows the Palin emails came out and the media had bated breath waiting to see what salacious info would be found. Of course, nothing was found and Stewart spends several minutes mocking the media for the much ado about nothing.

I think even hardened Palin fanatics will like this...
