Did something carnal tonight
An amusement park came to our town and I took my Sunday School class...Most of you know we work in a country that mainly has two classes of people the very rich and the very poor...My class, teenagers, had NEVER been one time to ride a ride of any kind. We took 30 of them. Bought their tickets gave some of them snack money and they had the biggest time...
Remember I work with people who have never had the money to even go to McDonalds...the park cost what a man would make working 2 and a half days per person! (Brazilian money)
Needless to say they were amazed beyound words....and we rode some of the rides with them and that seemed to make it so special to them...
Rejoice my friends...you have untold and uncounted blessings that most of the world will never enjoy...If you could have seen their smiles...

That is SO sweet. It makes me laugh and cry at the same time. I thank God for my untold and uncounted blessings. And I am so glad that you make them smile!

Sis. Alvear, God is going to bless you above and beyond all measure. I think of you often and pray for you and the work you are doing. I also pray for protection and I plead the Blood of Jesus daily.
Keep on working for the King.......

Thanks for such kind words...I have one main desire and that is to be REAL..in my service to my Friend Jesus and serving His little ones I am serving Him...
I just love my AFF family. Love you folks.
Tamor, I see you are from Adamsville. Did you ever know a Sister Scott? I don't even know if she belonged to any certain group. She was a good friend of my folks many moons ago.

Oh my goodness, I will answer for Tamor since she's not on here right now. Brenda Scott pastored 8 miles away from our church in Adamsville for years; she's retired now. Her son David married a gal who grew up in our church and was our minister of music for YEARS. He's incredibly talented! He now lives in Jackson where we live, and they own a medical supply business and have a beautiful home and two gorgeous kids. Brenda's husband Dee wasn't saved for several years, but he finally came to the Lord and continues to live for him now. That is so wild that you know them!!

And by the way, I can just imagine you having as much fun at the amusement park as those kids! That is something they will NEVER forget. Thank God for your kindness to them. My kids don't know how spoiled they've been! They've travelled all over the world.

If you're talking about Dorothy Scott, yes I do. I know her well. She was part of our church in Adamsville, but I don't know where she attends now.

I wasn't even thinking about Brenda Scott. The first one that came to my mind was Dorothy.

Sorry, I didn't know you were on here. I didn't mean to butt in on your question! I imagine she's talking about Dee & Brenda, because they were independent, not UPC, for years and years. She only joined UPC the last several years of pastoring.
That shot they gave me today gave me WAY too much energy. The doctor told me I might be wide awake tonight!!!
