Pastor James Kilgore, Jr. Has been speaking on a series of lessons that I just got a small taste of while visiting life tabernacle this past weekend, but it started me thinking...

Dear AFF'ers,

The mind think of Anger is: "You owe Me". For the past 8-10 months I have been filled with so much anger that I have sabatogued many areas of my life. I felt like I had given of myself spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially until there was nothing left for me to give and I thought that now it was my turn to receive. You know, the law of reaping and sowing...I have sowed and now I proclaimed it was time to reap. But nobody was cooperating.

Since Genesis when Cain slew his brother Able out of anger until today when anger causes strife, murder, dissention, and offese...anger is a terrible thing. It infects the person and all those around them.

Today I am proclaiming freedom from the anger that has poisoned my mind, heart, and life and give it over to Christ. I am confessing for accountability and because I need to. If I have poured my anger out onto anyone in this forum I apologize and ask that you forgive me, and please pray for me as I realign myself to God's character.

Humbly, Sis. Rhonda R. Cyprus

Rhoni,

Good post. Anger is something that would very easly get hold of any of us.
I spoke on Joy a few weeks ago and said that of all the fruit Joy is the fruit
most easly lost, usually due to anger.

God Bless ya today & anyone else who is trying to let loose of anger, and get more Joy into their life!

What an insightful thought!

Sometimes we have to get below the surface to find the real cause

(root of bitterness, anger, etc.) of the problem. I believe Someone has

been digging and pruning around the trees in His vineyard. Sis. Nona

Freeman said she studied what "fallow ground" meant and she found it

meant, plowed ground, but not yet planted. I found two verses relating

to fallow ground. Jeremiah 4:3, and Hosea 10:12. Jeremiah seems to say

that we need to break up our fallow ground and get the thorns out before

we sow, as the thorns can hinder the groweth of the good seed. In the

parable of the sower, in Matt.13:7, some seed fell among thorns and the

thorns sprang up, and choked them. Why does it seem the weeds and

the thorns grow faster than the plants intended for harvest! Jeremiah

tells us to break up the fallow ground, and sow not among thorns. Hosea

tells us to sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up

your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain

righteousness upon you. I believe this is a picture of repentance and then

getting the seed (Word of God) firmly planted in our hearts, and when

the seed bed of our hearts is prepared, there will come up a crop of good

"grain". Good for food and some good for re-planting (seed-grain). You will

need kernels matured like the ones planted in the ground, in order for there

to be another crop. Seed grain. Mature grain (seed). The crop (people)

in the earth today are what was planted in their lineage (seed) yesteryear.

Someone is watchng and following me. What I am (not what I think I am)

or what someone thinks I am, but what I really am, the harvest of those who

will follow me, will reveal what kind of a tree I really was. I pray God will

reveal the thorns so that they can be removed, and not overgrow the good

seed that has been planted through the years of my life. If the thorns are

allowed to crowd out the good seed, what will I have to show when the

Lord calls for an accountability of what my life has yielded or not yielded!

My, where did all that come from. It came from my heart. I just did not

know it was there. Jesus on the inside, working on outside, O what a

change in my life!! Lord, please keep working deep inside and if there be

any wicked way in me, I pray You will reveal it so I can remove it. I must

be willing to remove it and give it to You!! Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your

abundant mercy and grace to us who are becoming Your sons and daughters.

Formed into Your image!! It will be revealed if we really are Your sons and

daughters, because when You have finished with us, we will look just like

our FATHER!!! After all, we came from your "seed", The Word of God!!!JESUS!!

He was that "seed" promised to Abraham that in his seed all the nations of

the earth would be blessed. That "Seed" is still producing after His kind!

Blessings,

Falla39

Sis. Falla,

Great insight...God is indeed breaking up some fallow ground in me so good seed can be planted and grow there.

Anger is a killer and if not dealt with produces a harvest of bitterness. It's just not worth it to hold on to. Have to deal with it properly, process thoughts, feelings, emotions.....let go of the baggage as Bro. Mark Foster preached and demonstrated when at our church a couple weeks ago.

There's a right and wrong way to deal with it ... but it's in our power to do. Then you're able to reap a good harvest of righteousness and that will SHINE out of lives in everything we say and do. People recognize it even when we ourselves can't and they are awed by it!

Good for you Rhonda!

Rhoni,

This seems more like a beating of yourself than a confession in the hopes to get your own attention. Don't turn that anger on yourself!

Let it go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quit feeding it and I promise it will die. Refuse to talk about it, refuse to meditate on it, refuse to nurse it, give it to Jesus He alone can mends the wounded spirits.

Life is toooooooooooooooooooooooooooo short to live angry and bitter.

The folks we are mad at are eating steaks, laughing and having a good time and could care less how they hurt us. The only person really hurt by our bitterness of the inability to let it go is us the hurt.

Ge up go to the ice cream shop get a banana split or chocolate fudge sundae
and find someone to laugh with and laugh until you laugh yourself silly.
