British Couple Too Christian

Here a link to an article about a Pentecostal British couple who, after fostering over a dozen children, have now been disqualified because of their religous beliefs.

Because they oppose homosexuality, etc they are deemed not suitable for foster care. Scary.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

That's a quite scummy court decision. More evidence that a pro homo state will crack down on Christianity.

Yup. I think it is a foregone conclusion that we are not far off from courts forcing churches to hire avowed homosexuals under the "discrimination" banner.

I think it will a little longer before we see the "hate speak" laws such as they have in France and other European countries. Under those laws preachers and authors are muzzled from preaching against homosexuality, etc. However if the current trend continues we will get there eventually. Amazing to me that any country that considers itself free and a Democracy will so easily throw away the concept of free speech.

A sad commentary on America.

We often wondered at no mention of America in Biblical prophecy. Maybe there is no Christian nation called America.

Re: British Couple Too Christian

What if a super lazy kid was born that way? Can foster parents no longer tell a super lazy kid that being lazy is bad and not normal just because he might have been born that way?
