Re: Gary Howard
Yes, they've lost 2 of their 3 children in the past year. They really will need a lot of prayer for peace and comfort!

Re: Gary Howard
How strange and tragic. Gary Howard is one that I remember well back from the olden days.

Re: Gary Howard
His death was very unexpected. He was getting dressed to travel to a conference, and didn't show up. He was in his mid-30s.

Re: Gary Howard
Does anyone know how GHJ died?
I was so shocked when I heard the news.
Gary Howard Jr was good friends with basketball all-star and jazz star, Wayman Tisdale, too... who also passed away last year.

Pastor T asked for prayer for the family and announced the funeral info this morning at church, and said that he died of a heart attack. (Which I believe is also how his sister died earlier *last* year.) GH was only 36 years old. I believe his sister was 33 when she died.
It's horribly shocking and sad. I really can't imagine the pain the Howards are going through right now. It's a parent's worst nightmare to lose a child, and they've now lost two in less than a year.
