Focus on the Family Superbowl Ad
I dont care that much to see the superbowl this year, but I think its great what focus on the family is doing in defense of sancity of human life.
A 30 second superbowl ad. I believe its airing right B4, or towards the beginning of the game.(It'll cost just under 3 million bucks).

Re: Focus on the Family Superbowl Ad
A big "Way To Be!" to Focus on the Family!
The Tebow family's story is particularly compelling. Everyone had told Tim Tebow's mom to abort because the medications she was given to fight off an amoebic infection had caused a significant amount of the placenta to separate from the womb.
Aborting Tim was "the only alternative." It even made "medical sense" and would prevent the family from "suffering great harm."
Instead, Mrs. Tebow chose life.
The "invalid" Tim Tebow went on to become the first college sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy.

I read this quote by Mike Adams this morning.
Quote:
Feminists to air Super Bowl commercial saying one of their aborted babies might have killed Tim Tebow.

Re: Focus on the Family Superbowl Ad
I worked til 6 and once home watched much of the game but missed the Focus on the Family "ad".
Judging by newspaper articles and tv comments
..........it sure created a lot of controversy...and this before it even aired

Re: Focus on the Family Superbowl Ad
The ad itself was kind of a quirky bit of humor. Here's the ad: http://technorati.com/videos/article...familys-vague/
The Technorati blog calls it a "vague" message.
That ad isn't exactly like the one shown on the Superbowl and doesn't have the humor I thought was quirky - Tim hits his mom with a pretty hard tackle on the Superbowl.

Re: Focus on the Family Superbowl Ad
One really good point I have heard brought out in the volley of thoughts leading up to this commercial actually playing was that the fact that this ad is being talked against by "pro choice" groups shows that they are pro abortion... not pro choice.
If a womans choice is to let the baby live then anyone who is "pro choice" should support her decision to make that choice.

Re: Focus on the Family Superbowl Ad
The ad was a lot more generic than I expected. (I saw both versions)
But, perhaps that will peak even more people's interest and get them to follow link and find out what could possibly have been soooo controversial.
