Gary Oliver?
Does anyone know what Gary Oliver is up to these days? I saw one of his cds at the bookstore. I think he used to go to Mark Hanby's.

Possibly pastoring a church in the Fort Worth area, if that's the same Gary Oliver?

Re: Gary Oliver?
I heard he went country...wasn't he with Carlton Pearson for a time as well? I don't know why I think that...could be dead wrong.

Re: Gary Oliver?
Yup. Some time ago Gary was at CP's but I think that was in the 90's and he has been gone a long time.
He traveled for awhile I believe (he came to my church back in TX a couple of times) and was on TBN a lot at one time.
I had heard he was pastoring somewhere. I thought maybe Florida but I really don't remember.
Speaking of old Mark Hanby folks whatever happened to Jim and Becky Pierce that used to be featured on his TV program. Back in the late 70's they would have been in their mid 30's probably so they are probably in their 60's now.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
