I watched some of the basketball game online and the technology that they are using this year is incredible. In the archived games they have the play by play typed out and you can navigate through the game by clicking on the individual plays. I was able to watch all I wanted to see in a game that was 1 hour and 45 minutes in less than 10 minutes.
It seems that they are really wanting to use these Olympics to change the way we see some things online.

I think this years Olympics we are seeing many new technological changes. I was blown away by the opening day ceremony.
So I am not surprised at all that it is also affecting the internet.--Now I just have to check it out for myself

I don't think any individual city will ever come close to matching this. China as a whole decided to make a statement with this. Many people are calling it the greatest production of any kind that they have ever seen.

I think you are absolutely right on all counts, it was a great, great production-who could even come close?
London if they have not already started preparations maybe too late , and 2016 Olympics better get started now!
