Can a oneness believer make it to Heaven...
Can a oneness believer make it to Heaven on a trinitarian pew? There is a sad situation in my city in which I will spare the details. But I just talked to a young man who has had his fill and is leaving his church this week-end.
During lunch I expressed my concern about his choice of churches and he replied that he was fully aware that it was a trinitarian church but that he knew for a fact that there were other oneness believers that attend.
He said he was solid in his beliefs and planned on attending.
Anybody ever been in this type of situation....meaning believing oneness and attending trinity? We do use trinitarian material to teach and preach from at times. We read books written by trinitarians and gleen from them.
Can we sit on there pews and not waver and yet still be fed and grow?

I don't know about the situation as we are only getting piecemeal info.
Did the people leave because of a problem?
Can one of them lead a home meeting?
Can a HM preacher come to the area?

Well I am not asking for the details but you have to consider this, if they are a true trinitarian Church thier doctrine is wrong and it will influence other things that is taught as well.
I have gone to some seminars & other things that were held in a Trinitarian Church, I also have heard Trinitarian preachers preach.
When they get to talking about God from a three person stand point it irks ny spirit as I know it is wrong.
Why would one go to a Church that teaches false doctrine?

Sure you can. No reason why one couldn't do that. Also many of the trinitarians that I watch preach-which is A LOT-rarely talk God-head doctrine. But on the occasion they do, believe what you believe, you already do that now...know what I mean?

Re: Can a oneness believer make it to Heaven...
I have known quite a few trinitarians that actually believe almost exactly, or exactly as oneness believers do, they just have a different terminology for it. I think the oneness term fits better myself, but I see why they would think their term fits.
If they believe there are 3 Gods they are incorrect, I wouldn't recommend that church myself, but the church someone goes to, does not send them to heaven or to hell.

Yes, that is the situation I am in right now. I will never believe anything different than the oneness or baptism in Jesus name but we don't have another church to go to in this town not even a UPC.

I couldn't do it. Somewhere along the line I would contend for what I believe is true and salvational..........water baptism in Jesus name, baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of tongues and the Oneness of God.
We are affected by those we fellowship with. If you hang around wise men, you will be come wise, if you hang our with angry men, you will learn their ways, evil communications corrupt good manners. In the long run if you stick around false doctrine long enough you will either believe it, become apathetic to the doctrine, or have to leave.
As for losing your salvation of a Trinitarian pew, maybe.
