Nearly 75 miles of posting.
I noticed that, as of a few minutes ago, there have been 418,570 posts on AFF. If each post where to be printed on a 8. 5"x11" sheet of paper, and laid end to end, they would stretch for about 72 miles.
418,570 x 11"= 4,604270"/12=
383689 feet
= 72.6683 miles.
Thats roughly the distance from my house to Huntsville, Al.
Math wizards... is my math correct? AFF wizards, are we doing some posting or what?!?
Can we make it 75 miles today?

Re: Nearly 75 miles of posting.
Wow!! I have to laugh when I think about this. When I first started getting involved in forums I remember my dad so clearly telling me DO NOT get your mom involved in those dont even tell her about it! I questioned as to why... he just laughed and said because she already prints every single email she gets... can you imagine the ink bill if she was on one of those forums?!?!? ROFL
I thought he always overplayed it until she passed away last year and as I clean out her stuff still to this day I know I can say I have already thrown out at least 5 boxes of nothing but printed emails of hers LOL!

Re: Nearly 75 miles of posting.
Lets see, 418, 570 posts, printed on single sheets of 8.5x11 paper, would weigh about... Does anyone know how much a piece of paper weighs?
Your mom reminds me of my wife. I actually thought for a while she collected flyswatters as a hobby. You could sit anywhere in the house or on the front porch and be within easy reach of a flyswatter. Each room has its own flyswatter hanging near the light switch. Right now, there are at least 12 flyswatters inside the house. That doesn't include those on the front porch, the one in the car (yes...we have a flyswatter in the car), the ones in the garage and the ones on the carport and in the utility room. I think she believed there would one day be a plague of fliess as in Egypt. She was ready for it if it ever happened!

Well, let me put it this way. I have first hand knowledge of the fact that, yes, flyswatters are multi-purpose tools. Not admtting to ever acting up, but I do recall the "smack" or "swat" that was aimed elsewhere rather than at a poor defensless fly.
