The Ever-Increasing Power of the District Board
Last fall, when resolution three was passed, District Board's gained the power to place a ministry "under question" for a variety of reasons that may include finances, morality and the like.
My understanding is that the General Board's decision to exclude dual membership will be enforced at the discretion of each District's Board.
So, a more conservative district may not enforce the ruling at all, while a more liberal district may opt for a total ban on all WPFers.
How sensical is that?

all types of human govt in themselves are flawed to varying degrees because they are made up of humans, well in most cases, dt

Re: The Ever-Increasing Power of the District Boar
Is this a UPC board and function we are discussing?

Re: The Ever-Increasing Power of the District Boar
I don't see this as being a big deal really.
Isn't it better to have localized policies rather than a single "top-down" policy issued from UPCI headquarters?

There is a move to decentralize the org ... however creating feifdoms is not the way to go.

Kinda thought that was what you meant. LOL
In which case I would go back to your original statement. ALL government by nature of human involvement is flawed.....

Investigation is the quickest and fastest reason to airmail your membership card back to the mothership.
I would show my books (If I were in the UPCI) when the HQ shows me theirs....
