No proof of this what so ever. Once you get past the first two opinionated blog links, the actual newspaper that broke the story in 2005 makes no comment to the sort.

Whats this ,? No mention of the fact McCain is only co-founder? what about the fact that Senator Bob Kerrey (D-NE) was the other co-founder. What about the fact that the governing board of this Institute is made up of Dems. and Rep. alike? What about the fact that the Institute as a whole has studied and supports several issues both liberal and conservative? So then could it be said that the money coming from Soros' and Kerry are also funding the liberal issues that they are intrested in? Or will it be said that the Dem. senators recieving funds from this org. are being supported by the conservative donors?
McCain used the institute to promote his political agenda and provide compensation to key campaign operatives between elections.
And the other members of the board used the org. to promote their political agenda's. It's a bipartisan think tank. And as far as "compensation to key campaign operatives" (I like how the word "operatives" is used in articles like this, like they are some kind of covert evil spies) so what if the guy works there when not in a campaign. Do other campaign managers draw unemployment between elections?

It is typical for such people as Bill Gates, Geo Soros and those of their ilk to fund both sides of the race. Warren Buffet, is an outstanding example of that. It happens all the time.
This is often done by those who anticipate SOMEONE is going to be elected and hope that their contribution will buy some influence needed later on.

I suspect that McCain did help found the foundation/think tank in question. I also suspct that Soros gave money to the think tank.

Now, if McCain accepted money from Soros in this election cycle, for the express purpose of funding his run for the whitehouse, that would be entirely different.
