Urgent Request

Please cover believers who are suffering severe persecution in a totalitarian country.

We ask for your special prayer covering for believers undergoing severe persecution. While all except two have been released from prison, their leader's death sentence is scheduled to be carried out on Friday. Please be in prayer for this man's deliverance, as well as his family and the other believers.

Thank you, Sis. Falla. I wanted to add that they were trying not to make this an international issue by putting out names. They are trying to protect all of the saints of God in the area against further undue persecution.

Two things come to mind:

The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church.
This may be a way of God growing His church.

The instance in Acts 12 (May AD 44) where Herod (reigned AD 37-44 AD) planned on killing the Apostle Peter, but because of the prayers of believers Peter was miraculously released.

May God's will be done here
(I personally hope it is a stay of execution and release)
