Apparently this didn't have anything to do with FB. However it also does not reflect on whether or not FB is a bad idea for married couples hooking up with former lovers

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

If he's repented it might explain why he feels so convicted in his new commandment.

Re: HA! He's a perv himself! The Banning Pastor

NEPTUNE TOWNSHIP, N.J. – A pastor who said Facebook was a "portal to infidelity" and told married church leaders to delete their accounts or resign once testified that he had a three-way sexual relationship with his wife and a male church assistant.

The Rev. Cedric Miller confirmed the information reported Saturday by the Asbury Park Press of Neptune, which cited testimony he gave in a criminal case in 2003. The relationship had ended by that time.

Miller gained national attention when he issued the Facebook edict this week. He said it came about because much of the marital counseling he has performed over the past year and a half has concerned infidelity stemming from the social-networking website.

The 48-year-old leader of Living Word Christian Fellowship Church in Neptune Township had claimed Facebook ignites old passions, and he ordered about 50 married church officials to delete their accounts with the social networking site or resign from their leadership positions.

Miller had previously asked married congregants to share their login information with their spouses — as he does — and now plans to suggest that they give up Facebook altogether. The minister also said he would leave the site this week.

My desktop computer is on a desk in a room of our house that used to be a bedroom but is now called a "den." There is a single bed in there, a large desk, a short file cabinet with a printer on it, and several different bookshelves with hundreds of books and several pictures. Also on the wall I have some pictures, ect. (ordination certificates, license to perform weddings from the Ohio Secretary of State, diploma for my Th.D. degree) hanging on the walls. I keep the door open unless my wife is vacuuming in the hall outside or some times when I am on the phone. My wife does not use either of my computers --she just doesn't want to. The idea of the open door is that she can come into the room at any time and immediately see what I have displayed on my computer screen.

Re: HA! He's a perv himself! The Banning Pastor

Um...the affair[s] that occurred were back in 2003, and he obviously had openly confessed to it/them. Perhaps this is why he feels strongly about boundaries?

The accessibility of porn and other people via the internet has definitely caused problems for a lot of marriages. There's no doubt about that. I just think it's more effective to address it on a case by case basis.

Why are you digging into this pastor's past to discredit him, TJJJ? If the affairs had just happened recently, you might have a point. Otherwise....
