The Pressure To Be Thin

I was up reading the drudgereport came across this. (Skeletal Cate shocks at New York fashion gala) There are pics before and after of Cate Blanchett, she looks awful, she either very ill or starving herself to death~

It seem there is so much pressure these days for women to be stick thin, and how does this message affect our young daughters who view such things. It's everywhere from the check out counter to the Library in many homes from the magazines to the T.V to movies. You can see this behavior creeping into the churches, the message is you cannot be thin enough~Sad

We seem to have extremes these days, either one is obese or skeletal thin. Seem like balance has been lost, being healthy and fit no longer matters~
