It's time!!! Bassin time!
Weather breaking, time to get the bassin gear ready. Gonna make a trip soon to a basspro shop with some dough from tax return.
Don't be bitter by brothers up north! Your time coming in a couple months. In the 80s here.

Already done, got tax return back about two weeks ago, wife let me have 600 for bassin gear upgrades.
Went to the river weekend before last, caught a couple stripers. Went to the lake last weekend, caught a couple bass, couple crappie and a pike.
they are still a little slow and deep but are starting to move. Vacation in 3 weeks. Taking the first half of the week at Greers Ferry, lakeside condo. The second half taking the camper trailer and boat to Degray. If history and the forcast are any indicator then water temps should be around 65 and the crappie spawning.

How about sending some of that nice weather to Iowa... Or better yet send me an airplane ticket and I'll go with you. At least I'll be off this forum.

The one with me in the water is when my pole fell in water, of course being a true fisherman I went in after it.
