I just thought I'd start a thread to pass along the random "facts" we get through emails, fb status messages...etc. So, feel free to chime in. I'll start:

Elephants weigh less than the tongue of a blue whale.

"Typewriter" is the longest word you can spell, using just one row on the keyboard.

The average person laughs 15 times a day (I laugh way more than that...LOL!)

There are only four words in the common English language that end in "-dous": tremendous, horrendous, stupendous, and hazardous.

More people are killed annually by donkeys than die in air crashes.

The human eye blinks an average of 4,200,000 times a year.

Donald Duck's middle name is Fauntleroy.

Coca-Cola would be green if coloring weren’t added to it.

Honey is the only food that does not spoil. Honey found in the tombs of Egyptian pharaohs has been tasted by archaeologists and found edible.

"Almost" is the longest word in the English language with all the letters in alphabetical order.

"Rhythm" is the longest English word without a vowel.

You're born with 300 bones, but by the time you become an adult, you only have 206.
