Bad news for 60 million Americans that used to enjoy fishing. The UN will let us know when and where we can fish in our waters if they want us to.

A recently published administration document outlines a structure that could result in closures of sport fishing in salt and freshwater areas across America. The White House created an Interagency Oceans Policy Task Force in June and gave them only 90 days to develop a comprehensive federal policy for all U.S. coastal, ocean and Great Lakes waters. Under the guise of ‘protecting’ these areas, the current second phase of the Task Force direction is to develop zoning which may permanently close vast areas of fishing waters nationwide. This is to be completed by December 9, 2009.

I just heard of this. This is my understanding a treaty. A treaty takes 2/3rds vote. So he can declare this treaty to not be a treaty and do it on his own. Obama seems to neither show transparency nor compliance with the law.

Silly question, Obama seems to do anything he wants. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't schedule the days we can go to ther bathroom.

BHO does not understand he is merely the President (one who has swore an oath to Preside and protect the constitution of these United States). He believes he has whatever authority he neeeds to change this beloved country.
On the bright side, he is waking Americans up to the shakiness of our freedoms and liberties.
Do NOT rule out Americans resolve and desire for liberty and freedom. It is in our genes.
