Well don't be surprised if they say what you do is ridiculous too.

Like I said before, it is typical for people on here to do that.

Then you like to imply they lack a certain amount of faith, yet there are people who have gone to doctors and were still healed by God and there are people that shunned doctors, having great faith, and died. So this issue of "God is my judge" goes both ways.

Sometimes, it is God's will for people to die. That is not nothing new.

You are assuming too much. Have you ever been in a wheelchair paralyzed? I do know of people who were paralyzed and they were prayed for and they got out of the wheelchair and walked. Some of them were relatives and friends.

And clearly some DO die or not get healed who have shunned treatment....yet had they got treatment they or their child would be alive.

Are you saying that everyone that gets treatment will be alive?

Why do you keep adding the "without medication"?

Because this thread is about medication and many of you keep changing the subject.

You don't know the faith of anyone on this board.

How do you know that I don't know the faith of anyone on this board? Have you asked God about it?

They were using "cures" way back in the bible days too and when they trusted in Jesus he did not say "no, you went to the Dr first so I won't heal you"

Where does the Bible say that they used synthetic drugs in the bible days?
Jesus said it, I believe it, and that settles it.

So this carnal test of yours to divide between those that have GREAT FAITH (yourself) and others is flawed and sounds like it comes more from the carnal man than anything else.

Prove it and quit assuming.

Paul told Timothy to use a little wine for his stomach problems....why not just tell him to trust God and be healed and not try something "carnal"?

wine is alcohol and not synthetic drugs. There is a big difference between the two.

No doubt, Brother. I love my family, but not as much as I love God. When He says it's time for me to come home, I don't want anything to get in the way, including my family. They know I love them, but they also know that my love of God is the force that drives me to be who I am. Hopefully, I have shown them that putting God first is the most important thing they can do. Sometimes I wonder how well I am getting that point across. I really do. Only time will tell. I would love to live to be a great grandpa, though. That would be totally KEWL! Think about all the goodies I would get on Father's Day!

I have been healed instantly too, so what is your point? If you don't want to believe and trust God completely, then don't but stop criticizing me for trusting God completely.
BTW, I know people who have been healed instantly from being deaf. Have you?

Another thing, maybe your child is fearful of seeing a doctor, I know as a child I was, in fact I'd climb up the cherry tress in front of our house, to get out of going. So it be reasonable for him to want find an out!
As a parent I think anything outside the common cold or 24 tummy bug should be looked into, not ignored. As an adult I have the right to say no, but as a parent it's my duty to make sure my child has that chance someday as well, until their an adult it my responsibility to look after their health and well being, seek medical help when need be!
|
I have answered these questions over and over again. If you want to know for sure, then go through the posts and find them.
BTW, My son has told me that he trusts God completely and refuses to take medications. So, do you think that he is sick and wrong?

Amen Brother!!! James trusts God completely and refuses to take medications and I respect him for sticking to his convictions. I also trust God completely and refuse to take medications. It has been a long, long time since I have been to a doctor. At first, I didn't have strong convictions against going to the doctor, but as I have grown in the Lord and from what the Lord has shown me, my convictions have become stronger and there is no one on here that can sway me from my faith and convictions. In essence, they are wasting their time.

You're beliefs are fine, keep them.
But, if you are to be consistent, you are going to have to stop driving your synthetic car, stop wearing your synthetic clothing and shoes (unless you want to walk around all wrinkly), stop using a synthetic telephone, and, oh yes, stop using your synthetic computer.

No, I'm asking is would you seek out medical help if need be, for him or yourself? I mean if it's something bad, say like heart attack or stroke???
Like I said I have no issues with it, just asking! Frankly I think some people are over medicated .
One last thing, do you believe preventive medicine ? Like herbs, vitamins, keeping the body healthy through diet and exercises ?? This what I do myself.
