David was the first person who blurred the lines between king and priest. If you studied what David did, he did some things only the priests were allowed to do. David took a lot of liberties in the tabernacle as king. He messed up with moving the Ark of the Covenant. However, that didn't stop him from remodeling the original tabernacle.

Are you suggesting I should avoid confusing the issue with facts. Facts tend to mess up pastor bashing theology.
