I don't know. Do I need to repeat it again? Okay.
What is a thread? A thread is a chain of posts made by posters in which they express their opinions, thoughts, beliefs, experiences, etc.
Usually a thread is started around a particular "topic". Like the title of this thread was "Apostolic Feminists". But then very often the conversation drifts as this one did and became centered around a particular lady speaker and what she was speaking on, also her mannerisms, etc.
So when we say "that thread made me hoppin mad or that thread really encouraged me what we are talking about is what is said in posts by the individuals that make the posts.
Some threads make admin so upset they shut them down or delete them. But it's not the thread itself that's the problem. It's what makes up the thread, namely posts by posters that are sometimes rude or inflammatory or unGodly.
The kind of posts not allowed on this board is covered under Rules of Conduct.
So ... what is a thread? A chain of posts made by posters.
God bless you all.
