Yes we have been done wrong by a few, but have been bless by most.
It was hard for them to see their father attacked verbal and yes physical by the people he had invested the most in.. But I refuse to let the be filled with hatred and anger. If those people never repent they must repent of their feeling to be saved. They must love those who have lied on them, used them, and mistreated them.
Saints must do the same. For every bad preacher there are dozens of good one. Those who love the saints and would do anything for them.
To keep hashing and rehashing things does nothing but keep the bitterness and anger alive.
If one is in a cow paster and walks by a cowpaddy it will stink, but if you stop and stir in it it will stink worse.

Think we may have found something we can agree on WH.
On this thread we ARE talking about those few bad apples.
They are in our ranks, that is unfortunate, but they do exsist.
It is sad that there are those of us who can attest to this fact.
Now..about the good ones, I hope you are one WH.
I do know I have one of the best pastors in the upc.
He does not interfer into the lives of the people who attend our church in any way.
He is mindful that we all have very busy lives and work jobs and does his best to schedule things so time is utilized to it's best advantage.
He is not a screamer, never embarases us when we bring guests with rants or "skining the hog" kind of sermons that some of the UC refer to there preaching duties.
YES WH I LOVE MY PASTOR AND HAVE ALL THE RESPECT FOR HIM !!
But if he ever strayed any where near where some of these abusive controlling pastors have walked, we'd be having a serious praying thru session with him.
