Yup , baptized ther back in Jan/1970
Joe Duke was preaching a 2 mnth revival there.
I visited probably visited every church in 50 mile radius on our off nghts.

Believe it or not Elder Emerson and I were baptized in Jesus Name by the same man though several yrs. apart.

My mother lives in Pensacola,when I lived there I attended The Liberty Full Gospel church which was Trinitarian.Ken Sumrall was the pastor.

I know Bro. Booth that used to go to Elder Adams church. I think Bro. Booth is pastoring some where near DeRider, LA now.

You may think it is "self-righteous," but I just thought it was funny. I have done several "parody" songs in my lifetime. In fact, I'm working on one right now from the perspective of "the other side."
It is amazing how quickly people become "judgmental" when they don't like the message. However, attacking the messenger is not a new tactic.

By the way, I did not even know the "Apostolic Contender" website existed until I received an email from someone this morning telling me they "enjoyed my songs on the Apostolic Contender." I had no idea they were posted there, even though the site says they were "posted by permission." Perhaps they were, but it wasn't by MY permission.

Nope. In fact, he applied to join my forum and was turned down. As I said, he may have actually gotten "permission." It just wasn't MY permission.
I'm really not into "attacks." I like to have fun. That's it. That's what the songs were about. Nothing more.
I just don't like it when people speak of my "self-righteous spirit" just because I choose to have a little fun. I wonder if they said the same thing about the guy who sang "Tulsa Time." I seriously doubt it, but I may be wrong.
