That is why the pastor MUST call the police immediately and assist the authorities in any way possible to bring justice to the victims.

I wouldn't have been allowed to post this thread,and even if was allowed, some of the folks i see chimming in on it would have blasted and condemned me for the same thing. double talk at it's best.

I haven't read the link and don't know all of the facts.
But isn't sad that some folks would use a position of authority in the Christian faith to exploit others ?

That's my experience, too. Many times they don't even see their need to apologize. If they had to admit they were wrong, it would be too humiliating and humbling. Jesus let us see that He was flesh, too...He didn't mind letting us see His human side.
It's not wrong to show that there is a need to repent. The attitude of being so holy and so righteous when a person is making errors of judgment is one reason newcomers leave the church and why there is not a great move within the Church. When the leaders fall, how great is that fall. When the leaders back those that sin and cover up their wrong doings because they are church members or friends, therein lies the way for Satan to come in under other circumstances. The world mocks and the Church cries.
