After the first two books, they start going downhill, but I did enjoy reading them.

Yeah, as you can probably tell, I love anything that is satire... I have read a lot of L. Ron Hubbard's fiction too (before I even knew he started a religion). His fiction is hilarious... it pokes fun at tradition and government and society at large... and for everyone else, no I am not afraid of becoming a Scientologist if I read his fiction...

I LOVED Battlefield Earth! One of the very best books I ever read..... But did not like his Mission Earth books at all. I bought all 10 but got through the first 6 or 7 of them.

My responses have been based on the initial post.

Right, not from outer space. We know they are from Mexico.

I find these topics interesting, from a stand point of wanting to know what deceptions the enemy tries to use.
Actually I'm surprised that no one instantly recognized the reference I made. He's a popular UPC speaker and is quoted a lot by others. He may want to let the whole episode sink into obscurity, so I won't name him. It's been about 10 years now.

On the topic of Art Bell and George Noory (sp?) - they have a Hebrew scholar on their show sometimes who teaches at the University of Wisconsin and consults with the Logos software company. He is known as the "anti-Zechariah Stitchin. http://www.michaelsheiser.com/

I've never caught those radio shows but I do have a couple of Heiser's appearances on mp3 as well as a subscription to his newsletter. He's a pretty good antidote to the "angels-are-space-aliens" thing, though he does seem to be angling his marketing at that crowd.

For a lot people "interdimensional" would mean from the "spirit realm" and into our realm. Would that make a difference? Or is something "alien" just as "alien" whatever the source?

Personally I discount a lot of the UFO/abduction stuff as either psychological or social in nature, without any necessary spiritual connotations. But then if greed and a lust for power takes over a few, suddenly it becomes very spiritually relevant.

As has been pointed out before, why would aliens travel trillions of miles just to become human proctologists? That probably is one thing for which the Freudian answer is correct.

What is a 'space alien'? Why, a sentient, non human creature of non-earth origin.

Thus, aliens are mentioned in the Bible quite prominently.

That's what I meant by "coy."

I think it's against people's religion to keep a thread on topic......LOL!

I was just trying to make the point that if aliens exist it does negate the Bible nor does it mean God does not exist as your first post [quoted here] stated.
