Mrs. CC1 is dealing with weight gain finally at the age of 55 1/2. For the first 20+ years of our marriage her weight never varied more than 6 lbs except when she was pregnent and even then she would be back in her normal clothes in a week or two after giving birth.
Then over the last five years or so she has gained weight a few times up to 20 lbs over her weight 27 years ago when we married. Right now it is 19 lbs more and she does not like it. She never ate junk food or snacked until a couple of years ago and now she does and she is gaining!
I think she looks fine but it is funny to see her look "thick" when she has never been. She is swimming and jumping on the trampeline every day so we will see what happens.
HEY! A thread just for HeavenlyOne! I am on the phone with her right now and just had to tell her that there was a thread just for her! She can really learn some things from this thread.
HeavenlyOne! Git yerself over here already! Oops, I'm sorry, I forgot you can't move very fast...just do the best you can honey...
I think that women who color their hair make a couple of mistakes. One- they choose a color that is too dark. I have found that even the label will be misleading and always pick a color that is a shade lighter than I want. Two- most of the time I color my roots only. About every two months I will pull the color to my ends and then only for about 5 minutes. The ends soak up color quicker and color darker if you leave it on longer. This is probably way more information than you wanted!!!!
Sounds like you're saying the One who created us and knows the very number of hairs in our head does His work on us when it is not age-appropriate. He knows better than we do what is good for us and what we need. When our hair color changes, that is His time for us. Sorry to spoil the party. But ageing and wrinkles, and gray hair is in His plan for us on His time table and not ours.

Gray hair isn't specifically "age" related anyway. Its inherited just like thinning hair or baldness. It can and does happen to many even in their 20's.
