ARGGGHHH, can you ladies actually read?

Once again, go back and read my posts. I have posted towards supposed pastor/saint abuse not domestic violence. Come on ILG you know me better than that. Get real.

I don't know. All I know is I came on here and you were ranting about how terrible it is for people to talk about spiritual abuse and how women who are in abusive relationships need to get out because you would.

I never said that.

Further, is this the sole purpose of AFF? To consistently talk about every past hurt in our lives? I sure hope not. If so, we need some licensed therapists on staff here.

Seems like most pastors say "Abuse???That's terrible!!! Good thing none of my saints have that problem!!"

As a matter of fact, a study was done where the majority of pastors said they would support a woman in leaving abuse but estimated that they had very, very little problem with it in their churches. Studies of abused Christian women say they didn't get support in leaving.

No. But I think if people would listen to the hurts that people have instead of acting like folks are a bunch of whiners that the board could get past some of this and learn somethings about each other. Because it's not people who continue to whine really....it's a power struggle between those who want to speak and those who want them to be quiet.

No> You are wrong. Some people don't want to get past it. They enjoy whining.

How about let's discuss this statement you made.

SOME people, just like SOME pastors are abusers and SOME husbands are abusers and SOME people DO want to get past it. SO, having said that, how is what you said any different than anything we've said? You think we're whining about pastoral abuse and you are whining about people who don't get past it.
