Re: Lee Stoneking Addresses UN
So, here's a Christian giving his testimony at the United Nations, also telling world leaders that the answer to the world's problems is Jesus Christ….and on a Christian Forum christians are bickering about it. Very sad. Grow up, people.

As I said earlier, I'm very glad for the name of Jesus to be proclaim in the UN general assembly. But I still have opinions about it, God is not restricted by my opinions, He will do what he chooses with it.

This wasn't the General Assembly.

What was it then?
Why was the President of the UNGA and UN Secretary General presiding over the event?
Even the speakers mentioned it as the General Assembly.

Why would you post a lie like that???
Of course it's the General Assembly.
Many have spoke at the United Nations but this is a first at the General assembly just accept it.

General Assembly.

My point is - if you have been completely healed and delivered from a disease, and the doctor says you don't even have the cardiac disease gene in your DNA, then why did he have cardiac surgery in 2014?
I'm not trying to take away from the fact that he presented Jesus to the UN, which I think is great, and I'm thankful for that.
I'm just trying to understand why he had to mention the "no cardiac disease gene" to the world, when obviously he still has it???
If he could have just stopped with the miraculous event that took place in 2003, without bringing in the tale that the doctor told him that even his DNA was clear of cardiac disease, it would have been more believable.

Oh, my bad. I misunderstood the previous posts. I didn't catch the part about the prayers for him last year.

Re: Lee Stoneking Addresses UN
Spot on. Instead of finding reasons to grip about it folks should be praising Jesus for an opportunity for the truth to be proclaimed.
