http://mediamatters.org/research/201...-to-sta/199742
In other words, December 2011 was President's Obama doing. GWB's contribution to this was a Status of Forces Agreement that ended December 2011, but I remember there was much political discourse in the months leading up to December 2011-- and President Obama and his decisions were at the center of the discourse at the time.
Whether because he refused to work with Al-Maliki's demand to have legal jurisdiction over U.S. Forces or if he was concerned with getting America out a hole we should never have been in to begin with, President Obama pulled America out of Iraq and I say, good riddance!

It was already set when the US would draw down before obama became president.
"The Bush Administration later sought an agreement with the Iraqi government, and in 2008George W. Bush..signed the..U.S.-Iraq Status of Forces Agreement. It included a deadline of 31 December 2011, before which "all the United States Forces shall withdraw from all Iraqi territory".[12][13][14]..The last U.S. troops left Iraq on 18 December 2011, in accordance with this agreement.[1][13][12]"

Sadly, most of the "green" energy that is being touted is more ecologically damaging than coal.
Solar - terrible damage to the environment in the manufacturing process.
Batteries - again such terrible damage to the environment that you cannot even make them in the US.
Wind - massively destructive on birds.
Nuclear - look at Japan.
Mercury light bulbs - ridiculous.

Just a point... we make car batteries in the U.S.

As for wind being massively destructive birds, well there will always be unintended consequences.

Coal going out of business sucks... I live right beside coal country va and west va. I'm bracing for our light bills to skyrocket soon. Coal produces too much of American electricity to just regulate it out of business and have no consequences.

We can. There are ways we can do things but nobody wants to. There are towers that have sensors that can sense approaching people and then sends out a sonic "screech" that is so unbearable they have to turn back. We wouldn't need a fence

Praxeas, now that we have taken custody of those children, if anything tragic happens to those children (bus hijacked, etc) we will in part be responsible.

Yeah? So we put them in foster care and something bad happens to them...it's still our fault right?
Something bad can happen here too. Put then on an airline and fly then home

There a couple things I am unclear about-- did these kids arrive at once en masse?

More like in small "en masse"...several large groups

Have we just been collecting kids like pokemon cards for such a time as this? Is it a very recent development to have so many kids unaccompanied at our border and were they unaccompanied for most or all of their trip?

Children have been coming over. This is a recent surge. That has to make you wonder what changed.

I am also thinking that these children may have been coached to not divulge identifying information and some of them could very well simply just not know-- but maybe I am wrong about this, I just don't know.

It's being reported we know what nations they come from
Here are those sound weapons

And that's not to mention the 10s of thousands of people that work in United States jobs related to the coal industry. Truck drivers, power plant workers, miners, heavy coal machinery repairmen and more...

Thank you for finding the verse that proves that the "climate disruption" crowd are beating at the wind!

Whatev's.
You're the type that wants to blame the President for the red light cameras in your town! The problem at border has been a problem for years. It has become very bad and the President and Congress needs to come together to do something substantial to fix the issue now.
But you don't really want the problems to be fixed in a bi-partisan manner.
You want what you want.
You and the House of Reps have forgotten it takes compromise to govern a nation like America.
For the record, I'd probably not smile either if I were Governor Perry. It is a serious problem and it takes the Legislative and Executive Branch to fix the problem.
