Re: Zimmerman not guilty!!!

Could someone please tell me why Zimmerman had several physical injuries and Trayvon had none! Did Trayvon beat up Zimmerman, "after" Zimmerman shot him? Who did you say attacked first? How did Zimmerman have several injuries and Trayvon had none prior to the unfortunate shooting.

It's sad, (In America), when a Jury comes forth with a verdict in such a short time, having heard ALL of the evidence, where we only heard bits and pieces and only what some of the media, and even the Judge, wanted us to hear..... and now we start Monday morning quarterbacking! The Jury has spoken! And unless we are smarter and know more than they know, we should be wise and stop passing "unfair" judgement!

Along with others, this is just my opinion, and by the way we all have one of those things, an opinion, and by the way, "mine is right!"

Barb, you have absolutely nothing to apologize for! It is a discussion and you spoke your heart very well.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

It's the emotionally charged that can make such an accusation. Most are saying no matter what, innocent or guilty, it's sad that TM died.

Making that sort of statement does not help the healing at all. It adds to it the evil speculation of those that believed GZ were innocent actually celebrate the death of a 17 year old...let alone any person's death
Ditto. My prayers are with Trayvon's family who I know are still grieving.

My heart is heavy for that community right now, the Martin family for their tragic loss & the Zimmerman family who will live in fear & the nation, because this case brought out the ugliest of ugliness on both sides.

For those who think Zimmerman was really guilty, trust me, let it go. If he was lying & they got it wrong he WILL answer to a higher authority - there's no escaping that.

For those who are celebrating & support him, humble yourselves & do not give in to insensitive celebrating of a dead 17 year old nor should you throw this in anyone's face.

It's a tragedy all around.

The race-baiting, insensitivity & relentless vitriol from both sides means we have a LONG way to go as a nation.

This case didn't create any wounds or hatred, it revealed them. It brought them to the surface.
THAT is the real tragedy - that we have a ton of healing to do in terms of race relations in America.

It has only begun~
I agree. The tragic death of anyone is just that...tragic.

People die all the time from stupid decisions they made, but we don't speak at the funerals to proclaim, 'If they'd only listened to me, if they'd not gone there, if they'd not touched that..etc...'

Death is tragic. Placing blame is even more tragic.

Regardless of how it really went down, GZ will live with killing someone for the rest of his life. Prison, in reality, might have been better than living with that fact.
